lunch

The Internet connection at work is heavily filtered, so I often find myself at home during my lunch break. Many good things come from this. I eat healthier and don't spend as much money, I catch up on personal e-mail, and most importantly, I peruse I Can Has Cheezburger.

This day isn't much different than another, so, here I am, on my couch, my laptop doing it's best to fend of the chill from my cool apartment. However, the reason I write is important.

I made a sandwich. It is delicious.

The details, in all of their sandwichy goodness:
10 grain bread from Brennan's, which is the outer layer of tasty. Within you'll find Colby cheese (also from Brennan's), as well as Plotchman's mustard and some Miracle Whip. You know, the kind with the light blue top. Finally, a thick pile of turkey. Not just any turkey - you'll find no sodium nitrate, artificial smoke flavors, or caramel color in this meat. Just... turkey. It's from Artamos, an organic deli on Whitney Way, near Odana. Everything I've eaten from there has been top notch. Plus, the potato salad is always worth the trip.

That's the story of my sandwich.

While I love Plotchman's mustard, I have to say that for a sandwich like that, you need to go with Gulden's Spicy Brown....

Agreed. However, I used what I had.

Nope, just nothing to post as of late. Thinking about getting a Blackberry, though, but the data plans are SUPER spendy. Boo. I did get some Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard, though.

Yum, sounds like a great sandwich! Bet you have more organic choices than we do up here. Lucky you!
