If you've got multiple PCs, and want to control them with a single keyboard and mouse, check out Synergy. I've installed it at work, and can now use my laptop as a "third" screen by controlling it with my desktop keyboard and mouse.
It should work between different operation systems - Linux/Unix, Windows, and Mac OS X. I'm tingling with dorkiness.
